Port Pass offers two types of passes: Day Passes and Year Passes. In Port Pass, the total amount is built up from the pass price and, depending on how you pay, a payment fee. VAT is calculated separately during checkout based on your company’s billing details.

Re-activation is needed when a Port Pass must be replaced or renewed, for example after a lost pass or when the pass holder’s identity document expires.

For standard pass purchases, the total amount per pass is calculated as: pass price + payment fee. If you buy multiple passes at once, the payment fee is charged per pass and the total amount is calculated for each pass separately.

If you pay for passes with your Port Pass wallet, no additional payment fee is charged during the pass purchase. The wallet is topped up separately by bank transfer, with a fixed payment fee per top-up. For more information, see How to use your Port Pass wallet.

VAT is not included in the prices above. It is calculated automatically during checkout based on your company’s invoice address. Port Pass will need a valid VAT number to invoice correctly. We will ask you to update it before purchase.

The order summary in the product shows the pricing breakdown, including Pass Price, Payment fee, Total, and that the amount is excluding VAT.

Before you can buy passes, your company must have a payment method configured or enough Port Pass wallet balance.

If no payment method has been added yet and there is not enough wallet balance, Port Pass will show a warning and ask you to add a payment method or top up your wallet first. For more information, see Adding a payment method and How to use your Port Pass wallet.
